New Park Breaks Ground In West Fayetteville
Construction officially kicked off this week on phase one of Underwood Community Park in West Fayetteville.
What’s To Come: The 38-acre park’s first phase will add a new playground, pickleball and basketball courts, walking paths, pavilions, and more.
Why It’s Important: Underwood joins four other parks in Fayetteville, including Gulley, Wilson, Walker, and Bryce Davis, and fills a critical need for outdoor community space in the rapidly growing west side of town.

Pediatrics Plus The Farm
Pediatrics Plus, a pediatric healthcare team known for its nature-based therapy, is set to open the first-of-its-kind Farm Therapy Campus in Rogers on Monday, Sep 15.
Health + Nature: The clinic blends occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language therapy, and applied behavior analysis with nature, creativity, and play, all to help children reach their full potential.
Practically Speaking: The Rogers Farm builds on successful locations in Bryant, Cabot, and Conway, offering children opportunities to feed animals, plant gardens, and explore sensory-friendly outdoor spaces while developing life skills and community through personalized therapy plans.

Tour de Frida To Roll Through Downtown Bentonville
Tour de Frida will cycle into Bentonville to celebrate the life of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo while spotlighting women of Northwest Arkansas, happening on Sunday, Sep 21, from 1-5p.
Road Ride: This free event features a family bike ride, a 10-mile road ride, and a mountain bike group, followed by a fireside chat with women leaders and a screening of the documentary Frida.
Turn Up the Tunes: Hosted at the Momentary and Fermentation Hall, expect vendors, artmakers, free prizes, and live music from DJ Susie Q, Mariachi Hermanitas Alvarez Trio, and House of Songs.

Growing Home NWA To Launch Regional Growth Strategy

NWA Look
Growing Home NWA kicks off across Benton and Washington County for eight days of community meetings to develop a regional growth strategy for the area.
Stay Local: From Sep 17-24, 17 meetings and focus groups will take place, designed to help the region manage rapid population growth while preserving the local character that makes Northwest Arkansas unique.
Discussion Topics: Expect conversations on housing, traffic congestion, infrastructure, and the need for more inclusive gathering spaces. Recommendations will be implemented starting in early 2026.
