8th Annual DuckRace Splashes Into Springdale’s Turnbow Park

Springdale Public Schools Education Foundation (SPSEF) is hosting its 8th Annual DuckRace at Turnbow Park in Springdale, Saturday, Sep 13, from 10a-12p.

  • The Rules of the Race: To participate, purchase a duck, select a specific Springdale school or teacher you’d like to support financially, and watch to see if your duck finishes in the top 10 of the race.

  • Duck, Duck, Goose: If your duck finishes in the top 10, then the school or teacher you earmarked will win a $1,000 grant to use during the year for materials or a project of their choosing.

Time Loop at Crystal Bridges Opens Tonight

Time Loop by Klip Collective at Crystal Bridges officially opens tonight, Sep 3, and will run through early next year.

  • What To Expect: The immersive outdoor experience blends light, sound, and cutting-edge projections to transform outdoor sections of Crystal Bridges into a journey through time and space.

  • One Of A Kind: Designed specifically for the museum’s North Forest, Time Loop is open evenings, Wednesday through Saturday. General admission costs $25 for adults, $15 for youth, and is free for kids 10 and under.

BITE Experience Restaurant Lineup Announced!

The full restaurant lineup has officially been revealed for the BITE Experience @ the LPGA, happening Sep 19-21 at Pinnacle Country Club during the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G.

  • The Pie Hole: This year’s festival is bringing 35+ local eateries and brands to one delicious spot, offering unlimited tastings alongside premier golf views at the 16th hole.

  • The Lineup: A few favorites on the list include Junto Sushi from Bentonville, Urban Cellar Winery from Fayetteville, Ashleigh Lounge from Rogers, Toca from Springdale, and more.

Folklore of Fayetteville has expanded with a sweet new addition, Folklore Ice Cream, which opened last month in Downtown Fayetteville.

  • Ice Cream, You Scream: The ice cream shop joins the toy, gift, and candy store that debuted on the Fayetteville Square nearly a year ago.

Experience fall in the Ozarks during 37 North Expeditions Fall Foliage Train Rides and Hikes, kicking off Sep 13.

  • Fall in the Ozarks: Begin with a 70-mile round-trip train ride that takes you through the Boston Mountain range and the Ozarks, then lace up for a guided 2.7-mile hike along Yellow Rock Trail, overlooking Lee Creek Valley.
