Jesse Itzler To Headline Embark Summit for CPG Leaders

Embark Summit kicks off Tuesday, Sep 16, at the Momentary Bentonville, opening Retail Innovation Week with a high-energy gathering of CPG leaders, founders, and creators from across the country.

  • Big Names: Designed for everyone from seasoned pros to rising founders, Embark Summit delivers a full day of keynotes, panels, and connections. Featured speakers include entrepreneur and best-selling author Jesse Itzler, Stuckey’s Corporation Chair Stephanie Stuckey, and Lifeway Foods CEO Julie Smolyansky, along with leaders from Tyson, Unbothered Foods, and more.

  • In The House: After the sessions wrap up, the connections keep flowing at a series of Network Houses within walking distance of Downtown Bentonville. These evening venues will offer drinks and live music, including a special songwriter showcase at The House of Songs.

Enjoy Back-To-Back Home Meets With Arkansas Volleyball

Arkansas Razorback Volleyball

After opening the 2025 season on the road, the Razorback Volleyball team returns to Fayetteville for back-to-back home matches at Barnhill Arena on Friday, Sept 5, and Saturday, Sept 6.

  • On The Road: Arkansas opened the season last weekend in Wichita, KS, gaining early reps and experience as a retooled roster begins to take shape. With key returners like Zoi Evans and Romani Thurman, plus standout newcomers from top programs across the country, the Hogs are laying a strong foundation for what could be a breakout year.

  • Home Opener: We’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto. Catch the Hogs in action this weekend during the Woo Pig Invitational. Arkansas hosts Cal Poly on Friday and Tulsa on Saturday, with both matches starting at 7p in Barnhill Arena.

  • 🎻 Good Folks: The 78th Ozark Folk Festival is bringing three days of music, dancing, and Ozark heritage to Eureka Springs from Thursday, Sep 4, to Saturday, Sep 6. Catch headliners like the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, plus community dances, workshops, a folk fair, and a songwriter showcase.

  • 🌍 Globe in the Garden: The 9th Annual International Festival returns to the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks on Sunday, Sep 7, from 2–6p with global music, dance, food, and cultural displays.

  • 🎬 Now Showing: Fayetteville: The 16th Annual Fayetteville Film Fest hits the big screen Sep 18–21, with a packed lineup of films, workshops, panels, and filmmaker Q&As.

  • 🌸 Full Bloom: The Bloom Room returns Thursday–Friday, Sept 26–27, from 11a–6p. The free immersive art experience honors survivors of domestic and sexual violence with live art and a powerful space for community, courage, and healing.

  • 📚 Page Turner: The NWA Book Fest returns on Saturday, Sep 27, from 8a–5p with a full day of author readings, signings, and storytimes across NWA. This free, family-friendly festival also features a market of local, bookish vendors perfect for lit lovers of all ages.

Shiloh Museum Hosts Night of Barbecue, Black History, and Ozark Stories

Shiloh Museum of Ozark History in Springdale is hosting an evening of storytelling, food, and cultural celebration this Wednesday, Sep 3.

  • Taste of History: The evening features award-winning author and food historian Adrian Miller, aka “The Soul Food Scholar,” whose work explores the deep culinary legacy of African Americans in shaping barbecue traditions.

  • Community Stories: The event is part of the museum’s Not Strictly History series and Ozark Voices: The Black Experience initiative. Visitors can bring photos, artifacts, and memories to share with museum staff, enjoy the One Step Higher exhibit, and help preserve Black history in the Ozarks.

The “Most Fun Fundraiser in Northwest Arkansas” Is Back

Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter

The Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter will host the 16th Annual Fresh Start on Saturday, Sept 13, from 6–9p at the 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville, feautring an evening of fun that funds critical services for survivors in our region.

  • Community Impact: Led by co-chairs Angela Mayo, Antoinette Nash, and Mallory Files, Fresh Start supports NWAWS’s mission to provide safety, shelter, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

  • Casino Night: Dubbed “the most fun fundraiser in Northwest Arkansas,” this retro casino-themed night features blackjack, roulette, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, music, and a silent auction. The event helps raise vital funds amid major cuts to federal and state victim service programs.
