UA Women’s Soccer Team To Face No. 1 Duke This Thursday

The No. 13 Razorback women’s soccer team takes on the top-ranked Duke Blue Devils at Razorback Field this Thursday, Aug 28, at 6p.

  • Stacked Start: Three of the Ladybacks’ first four matches of the season are against top 25 opponents: Iowa, ranked 9th in the country, Notre Dame, ranked 7th, and now Duke, ranked 1st.

New Pool Hall To Officially Open In Springdale

The Springdale Pool Lounge is set to open its doors this Saturday, Aug 30, from 11a-1p.

  • Pool Play: On Main St in Springdale, the lounge offers pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, TVs for game day, and plenty of drinks.

4th Annual Maker Faire Highlights Local Artists And Innovators

The 4th annual Maker Faire NWA will bring a day-long celebration of creativity, learning, and innovation to the Fayetteville Public Library on Saturday, Sep 6, from 10a-4p!

  • Looks Like We Made It: Known as the “greatest show-and-tell on earth,” Maker Faire is a worldwide trend of gathering engineers, artists, scientists, and crafters to display their hobbies, experiments, and projects.

  • Make Your Way There: Enjoy demonstrations from animators, scientists, robotics experts, and 3D printers. This year’s event also includes a Cosplay Contest that is open to all ages. Prizes will be awarded to top performers—registration is required.

Crystal Bridges and the Jones Center are asking the community to weigh in on the future of volunteerism in NWA through a short survey.

  • Why It Matters: The 10-15 minute survey will help guide how nonprofits support volunteers in the area and could even lead to the creation of a regional volunteer center.

  • Your Turn: Whether you volunteer often or not at all, you are invited to share your input. The survey is confidential, and anyone who takes the survey will have a chance to win a $25 gift card.

2025 Arkansas Enduro Series Rolling Through Fayetteville

The 2025 Arkansas Enduro Series kicks off at Fayetteville’s Kessler Mountain Regional Park this weekend, Aug 30-31.

  • It’s Mountain Bike Season: The Fayetteville Enduro is the first of four events slated around Arkansas this year, with other stops planned in Eureka Springs and Bentonville later this year.

  • World-Class Trails: Bikers will compete in 8 stages, racing 20 miles throughout the park’s world-class trails before wrapping up with an awards ceremony and a complimentary meal and cold drink.
