Washington County Fair Rolls Into Fayetteville

The Washington County Fair kicks off in Fayetteville this Tuesday, Aug 19, and runs through Saturday, Aug 23.

  • Rich History: Founded in 1857, it’s the largest and longest-running county fair in Arkansas, built on decades of dedication from farmers, business leaders, volunteers, and youth.

  • What to Expect: Open daily from 10a-10p, the fair features rollercoaster rides, themed days like Twosday ($2 gate + $2 rides) and Fair After Dark Friday (rides ‘til 2a), mouth-watering food, livestock shows, and local vendors.

A new report shows Northwest Arkansas is outperforming both state and national averages in terms of entrepreneurship.
