Bentonville Couple To Open Home-Based Wine Shop

Bentonville residents Yulia Batalina and Paolo Piraino plan to transform a room in their townhome into a small boutique wine shop.

  • From Italy, With Wine: Having moved from Italy just a year ago, the couple brings 15 years of combined wine business experience to Downtown Bentonville, aiming to add value to the area’s wine culture with a creative, neighborly touch.

  • Coming Soon: The Bentonville Planning Commission approved the business in early August, allowing the operation of the 169 sq ft bedroom-turned-storefront for one year. The space will accommodate no more than three customers at a time, and in-store consumption will not be allowed. The shop plans to open in September.
