🦇 Music Festival SZN: The Bats and Bluegrass Festival returns to the Illinois River Watershed Partnership sanctuary with live music from The Sons of Otis Malone, food trucks, educational activities, hikes, and, yes, bats this Saturday, Jul 19.
🤠 Buckin’ in the Ozarks: PBR is making its fourth pit stop on the pro tour at Springdale’s Rodeo of the Ozarks in Springdale this Friday, Jul 18 and Saturday, Jul 19.
🎸 Closing Time: After more than ten years of hosting local live music, Nomads Southtown is dimming the lights to their stage one last time. Check out the final show with performances from East of Anthony, Burning Genesis, and I The Killer Ark this Friday, Jul 18 at 7p.
🧶 (Yarn) Ball of Fun: The Arkansas Yarn Crawl kicks off with a full schedule of events throughout the weekend at two locations in Fayetteville, the Ozark Knit Co. at Sons Chapel and Sooieet Skeins Yarn Shop.
🎶 Tunes on the Weekend: Music artist, Elonzo Wesley, is dropping into Fayetteville Beer Works with an Americana, folk, covers, and original music setlist queued up. Grab a beer, snack on a salted pretzel, and enjoy some tunes with Wesley this Saturday, Jul 19 from 6-8p.
🎥 Grab Your Popcorn: Award-winning filmmaker Nathan Willis presents a screening of his work, Unveiled: Daisy Bates & Johnny Cash, this Sunday, Jul 20. The film documents the sculpting and installation of statues honoring civil rights activist Daisy Bates and rockstar Johnny Cash in the U.S. Capitol. Doors open at 3:30p with the film and panel discussion to follow from 4-6p.
🕺 (Kids) Run This Town: The kids will be taking over Lawrence Plaza at the Bentonville Kids Rave, a free, family-friendly dance party filled with bubbles, the splash pad, and live music, this Saturday, Jul 19 from 5-8p.

Lace Up for a Night Inside Razorback Stadium
Girls on the Run of Northwest Arkansas is hosting its 2nd annual Sneakers at the Stadium event at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Friday, Aug 1.
Star Power: Enjoy music by DJ Derrick, tailgate eats from Rudy’s BBQ, a lively silent auction, an open bar, and stunning views from the North End Zone deck - plus an appearance by Razorback Women’s Basketball Head Coach Kelsi Musick.
Stadium Views: Tickets are $50, or $75 for the VIP Experience, which includes a behind-the-scenes locker room tour and photo op with a Razorback mascot. All proceeds support Girls on the Run NWA’s mission to inspire and empower local girls.

Preacher’s Son Hosting One-Of-A-Kind Dining Experience Later This Summer
Award-winning restaurant, The Preacher’s Son, has partnered with a local ceramics artist to create “Kiln To Table”, a one-of-a-kind dining experience in Downtown Bentonville on Sunday, Aug 3 at 6p.
Art Meets Dining: Guests will enjoy a four-course meal from Executive Chef Neal Gray, served on a custom 4-piece dinnerware set handcrafted by artist Arianna Heisler. At the end of the event, diners will take the pottery set home as a keepsake.

Grove Aircraft has fully relocated its operations from San Diego to Bentonville in partnership with a Walton-owned aviation business.
Come Fly With Me: Founded over 40 years ago, Grove Aircraft is a long-standing aircraft wheels and brakes supplier for certified and experimental applications, known for precision, reliability, and performance.
Walton W’s: Now fully operational in Bentonville, the aircraft supply store has partnered with Steuart Walton’s aviation company, Game Aerospace, to take the next step towards vertical integration and business expansion.

♻️ Re-Thinking Recycling: Springdale has launched a new initiative to improve efficiency and reduce waste. CARDS trucks will now scan the contents of residential recycling carts as they’re emptied, flag any non-recyclable items, and notify households with a postcard listing the flagged items. No fines or penalties will be issued.
🎶 Old Traditions Reborn: Sacred Harp, an old hymnal from the 1840s known for its four symbol, sharp-note singing has found new roots in the Ozarks with the Arkansas Sacred Harp Singers group, where young and old gather twice a month to learn the vocal tradition and grow community.
🏡 Combating Homelessness: The City of Fayetteville will allocate $450,000 of its general fund to fight homelessness. Mayor Molly Rawn and the city staff plan to collaborate with current and former homeless people as well as leaders from local shelters.
🚧 Rivers and Roads: Infrastructure work is underway to extend I-49 from Alma to Barling, creating an uninterrupted interstate route from Canada to south Fort Smith.
👀 Where’s Waldo? Cardboard cutouts of Waldo have been hidden across 25 local businesses. Organized by Two Friends Books, the scavenger hunt aims to drive fun and boost foot traffic to participating stores. The game runs through Jul 26 and ends with a Waldo-themed celebration.
