Alice Walton’s Medical School Welcomes Inaugural Class This Week

Bentonville’s Alice L. Walton School of Medicine welcomed its inaugural class of students for orientation this week.

  • Holistic Health: The inaugural class of 48 students will pursue a four-year medical degree that blends traditional medical training with arts, humanities, and whole health principles. Since the program is not yet fully accredited, the first five cohorts will study tuition-free until full accreditation, expected in 2029.

  • Public Opening Coming Soon: While classes are already underway, public areas of the 154,000 square foot school, located near Crystal Bridges on J Street, will not officially open until Nov 3.

Grammy-Nominated Folk Star Gregory Alan Isakov Headlines Live on the Green

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov brings his poetic lyricism and atmospheric sound to the Momentary Green in Bentonville on Friday, Jul 25, at 8p.

  • Live On The Green: Fresh off a tour with Mumford & Sons, Isakov is making a stop in Bentonville to headline the Momentary's outdoor stage with songs from his latest release, Appaloosa Bones. With six celebrated studio albums, Isakov has built an international reputation for his stirring, atmospheric live concerts.

  • Summer Vibes: Acclaimed local folk duo Smokey and the Mirror will open the show, which welcomes all ages for a summer evening of great community and incredible music on the Momentary Green.

New Korean Fried Chicken Restaurant Opened Its Doors In Rogers

Bonchon Korean Fried Chicken is celebrating the opening of its second restaurant in Arkansas with a launch party at their new Rogers location on Friday, Jul 25 from 11-1p.

  • From Korea To Rogers: Founded in 2002 in South Korea, the fast casual restaurant has become a global leader in Korean fried chicken with plans to expands its U.S. locations from 150 to 500 in the next five years.

  • Freeeee Food: The Rogers franchise owner, Jeff Poole, and his team will be handing out free wings and t-shirts to the first 50 people who attend their Grand Opening event.
