Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA

The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas (SPSFNWA) has launched a $7.4 million capital campaign to build a new headquarters.

  • 🧑‍🧑‍🧒 Building for Families: The Building for Success capital campaign will enable SPSFNWA to expand services, increase capacity, and deepen its impact on single-parent families across Northwest Arkansas.

  • ❤️ Fueling Family Futures: From counseling services to pantry support, the new facility will serve as a beacon of hope and a launchpad for single parents and their children seeking to transform their lives through education.

Returning Home to Help Re-Build Lives Through New Initiative

Returning Home

Washington County is launching a new community reentry initiative to help low-level inmates successfully transition back into society.

  • 🫶 A Second Chance: The Returning Home pilot program, a first of its kind in Arkansas, will support the transition of 30 incarcerated inmates into a facility that allows them to become good-standing citizens.

  • 💻 Tools for Transition: Participants will receive resources like emotional support from Arisa Health and access to a computer lab to build career readiness, to ease reentry, and reduce jail overcrowding.
