Opera in the Ozarks Unveils New $34M Theater Ahead of 75th Season

Opera in the Ozarks is launching its 75th season with 21 performances and a brand-new $34M theater in Eureka Springs from Friday, June 27, through Friday, July 25.

  • Three Big Shows, One Grand Stage: The 2025 MainStage season features Carmen, Into the Woods, and The Merry Widow, performed by top-tier talent from across the country. Evening shows begin at 7:30p with Sunday matinees at 3p, all set at the newly opened Inspiration Point Center for the Arts.

  • A Milestone Worth Singing About: Opera in the Ozarks will officially mark the grand opening of its new theater with an already sold-out Gala Celebration on Saturday, May 31. More guided tours will be accessible in a free Family Day on Sunday, Jun 29.

PBS Travel Series “City of Songs” Was Created Right Here in NWA

City of Songs, the new PBS travel series exploring global music scenes, was created right here in Northwest Arkansas.

  • Global Impact: Hosted by Puerto Rican musician Stephanie Hahn, the show visits cities like Seoul, Stockholm, and Austin to uncover local music scenes and the deeper stories they tell, touching on themes of migration, identity, and innovation.

  • Local Roots: Filmmaker Mario Troncoso and Troy Campbell created City of Songs right here in Fayetteville, showing what’s possible when a supportive community backs local creatives.
