Centerton City Leaders Propose New Downtown District

ULI Northwest Arkansas
Centerton is laying the groundwork for a vibrant new downtown, aiming to transform 400 acres south of Centerton Blvd into a walkable, mixed-use hub.
Bedroom Shmedroom: With a population surge from 490 in 1990 to nearly 24,000 today, Centerton seeks to evolve beyond its "bedroom community" label into a place residents can live, work, and play without leaving town.
Early Planning: Collaborating with ULI Northwest Arkansas, Centerton is developing a master plan to guide this transformation. Early concepts envision walkable, mixed-use developments with greater density than the single-family neighborhoods that currently make up most of Centerton.
