Heartland Whole Health Institute Officially Opens This Week

Heartland Whole Health Institute
The Heartland Whole Health Institute officially opens this week in Bentonville, with tours and programs to introduce the community to this center of art and wellness running Thursday through Saturday, May 1-3.
The Whole Person: The Heartland Whole Health Institute is a nonprofit organization founded by Alice Walton that aims to transform health care by expanding access, improving outcomes, and promoting whole-person health through research, advocacy, and education.
Step Inside: Architecture and art tours are planned throughout each day of the grand opening celebration, and activities from sound bowl meditations, art making, tai chi, yoga, and live music will take place all day Saturday.

Horseshoe Hell Climbing Festival Opens Registration On May 6
Registration for Horseshoe Hell, the iconic 24-hour climbing festival at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch in Jasper, opens next Tuesday, May 6.
Global Acclaim: Despite its grassroots style, Horseshoe Hell has developed an international reputation thanks to its unique 24-hour format, wild atmosphere, and coverage in major climbing media like Climbing Magazine, Rock and Ice, and Outside. Free Solo legend Alex Honnold has even joined the chaos in previous years.
Limited Access: Given its insane popularity, participants are selected through a lottery system. Registration for the 12- and 24-hour competitions opens on Monday, May 6, at 4:20p, with entries accepted until Monday, May 20, at 6p. Lottery winners will be notified by Friday, May 24.

Tomorrow’s The Last Day To Sign Up For Spring Square 2 Square Ride
Break out the helmets and tune up your bikes! The 10th Anniversary Spring Square 2 Square Bike Ride, hosted by the Bentonville and Fayetteville Parks & Rec teams, rolls off this Saturday, May 3.
Southbound: The local tradition will take riders on a 30+ mile leisure ride from the Sam’s Club Home Office in Bentonville to the Upper Ramble in Fayetteville via the scenic Razorback Greenway. Pit stops are stationed along the way in Rogers, Lowell, Downtown Springdale, and Lake Fayetteville.
Family Ride: Registration is $35 for adults and $25 for youth. Sign up as a family and get $10 off per rider when registering at least four riders from the same household. Tomorrow, Apr 30, is the final day to register to ride.
