  • Hometown Highlights: The market celebrates the area's creativity, entrepreneurship, and artistry with one main rule: EVERYTHING must be made by folks from Northwest Arkansas! Shop 300+ local makers, including a kids’ vendor tent with 50+ young creatives.

Touch-a-Truck Event Rolling into Rogers

Junior League of NWA

The Junior League of Northwest Arkansas’s annual Touch-a-Truck event is rolling back to the Pinnacle Hills Mall in Rogers this Saturday, April 26. And this year, Bluey is making a special appearance!

  • Big Rigs, Big Fun: From 11:30a–2p, kids can climb, explore, and honk the horns of vehicles like construction equipment, tractors, motorcycles, fire trucks, and more. General admission is $10, or $30 for families up to 5 members. Children under 2 get in free.

UAMS and Washington Regional to Launch New Residency Programs

UAMS and Washington Regional are launching the first neurology and emergency medicine residency programs in Northwest Arkansas, with residents set to begin in July 2026.

  • Training Tomorrow’s Specialists: These new, officially accredited programs will bring much-needed neurology and emergency care training to the region, addressing specialist shortages driven by our rapid population growth. When fully enrolled, the programs will support 26 new residents across both specialties.

  • A Regional Collaboration: Residents will train at Washington Regional Medical Center and partner institutions like Arkansas Children’s Northwest and Central EMS, gaining experience in trauma care, stroke treatment, pediatrics, and more.
