New Western Filmed in Northwest Arkansas Coming to Theaters

Trail of Vengeance, a new western filmed in Northwest Arkansas, will premiere in theaters and on streaming platforms on May 23. Local screenings at Malco Theatres in Rogers and Fayetteville are scheduled for May 26.
Lights, Camera, Arkansas: The latest project of director Johnny Remo and writer Daniel Backman and produced by Skipstone Pictures, the film utilized several locations across the state, including Fayetteville, Prairie Grove, and Downtown Van Buren, transforming these areas to authentically represent the 1875 setting of the film.
Vengeance Is Mine: The film stars Rumer Willis (daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore) as Katherine Atherton, a widow determined to uncover the truth behind her husband's murder. She enlists former Pinkerton agent John Scobell (Gbenga Akinnagbe) for help. The cast also includes Jeff Fahey, Graham Greene, Eric Nelsen, and James Landry Hébert.

Bentonville Brewing Co. will host the annual Home Brew Tasting & Competition this Saturday, Apr 12, bringing craft beer lovers together for a great cause!
Taps for a Cause: Brewers from Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding areas will come together at Bentonville Brewing Co. to showcase dozens of their beers and ciders as they compete to win Best Brew, all to benefit the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter.
Family & Friends: Tickets are $35 and cover a commemorative tasting cup, snacks, and a chance to win fun local prizes. Kids and pets are welcome, and entry is free for anyone under 21 (or with four legs). There will also be an Easter egg hunt, so, whether you’re in it for the brews or the cause, you’re in for a good time.

Arkansas-Born Play Makes World Debut This Month at TheatreSquared

A Tale Of Courage: Set in 1938 Budapest, the play follows Ilona, a Jewish concert pianist determined to hold onto hope as danger closes in. This emotional thriller is filled with wit, intrigue, and the power of music in the face of rising fear.

Local Leaders Taking On Wastewater Infrastructure Problems
Local leaders will explore sustainable solutions for expanding Northwest Arkansas’s wastewater infrastructure during the Urban Land Institute’s Spring Symposium in Cave Springs on Apr 25.
Clogged Pipes: Northwest Arkansas’s booming growth is putting pressure on our wastewater infrastructure, particularly in fast-growing areas like Western Benton County, which has serious implications for the whole region. If you want to learn more, we recently sat down with local land specialist Dan Smith to discuss how sewer infrastructure affects development and housing prices.
