OZ Trails Unveils More Plans for Chairlift-Enabled Bike Park in Bella Vista

OZ Trails

Designs for the OZ Trails Bike Park, a chairlift-served bike park in Bella Vista, were unveiled during a community open house last week.

  • Lifting It Up: The park will be located along Highway 71 at the Mercy Way traffic light. It will expand the OZ Trails network with a high-speed chairlift system, offering year-round lift access. Additional features include a pump track, hiking trails, art walk, dining facilities, and a bike shop with rentals.

  • Holding It Down: Gravity Logic, a leading bike park designer, is building over 17 miles of downhill trails across 200 acres. The project, currently in progress, is expected to be completed by spring 2026.

Get Your Irish on This Week at Mount Sequoyah

There are two chances to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Mount Sequoyah in Fayetteville this week, including a mixology class and a full-on Irish feast!

  • Shake Things Up: On Tuesday, March 11, from 6-8p, join Mixologist Mike Koon at Parker Hall for a hands-on St. Patty’s Themed Craft Cocktail Experience. Guests will learn to craft and sample four unique cocktails, all paired with light, themed snacks.

  • Meat & Potatoes: On Monday, Mar 17, enjoy a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner featuring corned beef, chicken Murphy pot pie, colcannon potatoes, soda bread, Irish coffee bread pudding, and more. The meal also includes two seasonal beers for adults, and root beer for kids. Adult tickets are $37.50, $18.75 for kids 5-12, and free for 5 and under.

This Month’s Art on the Bricks is Serving Up Something Sweet

The March Art on the Bricks Art Walk is bringing a sugar rush to Downtown Rogers with the theme “How Sweet It Is!” on Thursday, March 13, from 4:30-7:30p.

  • Sounds Sweet: Inspired by National Riesling Day, National Coconut Torte Day, and Pi Day, this month’s event features sweet treats from local bakeries, coffee shops, and restaurants. Visitors can explore local art exhibits, enjoy live music, and shop exclusive promotions at downtown businesses.

Solve a Puzzle, Raise a Pint, Meet New Friends

Looking for a fun way to engage with the community and meet new people? The next Puzzled Pint meets tomorrow, Mar 11, at 5p. Can you solve the puzzle to learn the location?

  • Solve The Puzzle: The Puzzled Pint is an international social puzzle-solving event that happens on the second Tuesday of each month. A logic puzzle is released a few days before, and those who solve it learn where that month’s social will be hosted in their city.

  • Get Stumped: The Northwest Arkansas chapter of Puzzled Pint launched this past February. It’s totally free to participate but be warned… the puzzle might stump you (luckily, there are clues if you need ‘em).
