Northwest Arkansas’s largest local cycling event, the Square 2 Square Bike Ride, will celebrate 10 years of cycling and community engagement with its Spring Ride on Saturday, May 3.
Riding Tandem: As the only recreational program jointly organized by two Northwest Arkansas cities—the City of Fayetteville and the City of Bentonville—the biannual Square 2 Square ride has become one of the region’s most celebrated outdoor traditions.
Decked Out For The Decade: Registration is now open for the Spring Ride, which will follow a north-to-south route from Bentonville to Fayetteville. In celebration of the anniversary, a special-edition Square 2 Square Bike Ride cycling jersey is available for purchase. Jersey orders close TODAY, so act fast.

Let Your Tastebuds Take Off At LOUISE At Thaden Fieldhouse
Looking for a killer brunch spot? LOUISE at Thaden Fieldhouse in Bentonville offers a dining experience that’s as elevated as its namesake.
A Legendary Namesake: The modern cafe in Thaden Fieldhouse pays homage to the legendary Louise McPhetridge Thaden, a Bentonville native who set multiple aviation records in the 1930s and paved the way for women to take flight alongside other historic names like Amelia Earhart and Ruth Nichols.
A Legendary Menu: LOUISE serves breakfast, lunch, and brunch. Guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor seating facing the runway, which provides incredible views of planes taking off and landing. You can’t go wrong on dishes, but might we recommend the Hangar Hash or the Bacon Burger?
You can get 20% off at LOUISE and nine other local restaurants through the end of 2025 with our Daily Dine Card.

With Love From NWA: Hugs From Friends Delivers Warmth to Ukrainian Children

Hugs from Friends
Bentonville-based non-profit Hugs From Friends has successfully completed “Project Warm Hug,” providing winter clothing to children in Ukraine displaced by war.
Community-Powered: With the help of local donors and businesses like Outdoor Cap Company, Hugs From Friends collected and sent 593 hats, 81 pairs of gloves, 22 scarves, 14 jackets, and more to children in eight Ukrainian cities and villages. The warm clothing arrived just in time, as many homes and schools face limited heating due to ongoing power shortages.
More Than Just Warmth: Beyond the physical warmth, the project delivered a powerful message of care and solidarity. “The warmth of care and friendly hugs cannot be stopped by an ocean or thousands of kilometers,” said one Ukrainian recipient.
