Key Tronic Corp.’s Move To Springdale To Bring 400+ New Jobs To NWA

Key Tronic Corp. is relocating its Fayetteville plant to a 290,540-sqft facility in Springdale, bringing a $28M investment and over 400 new jobs to Northwest Arkansas over the next five years.

  • The Key To Success: Based in Washington, Key Tronic manufactures electronic components, handling everything from high-quality design to engineering and production of products used across several industries. The move will boost U.S. production capacity by 40% and help Key Tronic meet growing demand while reducing the impact of tariffs.

  • Increasing Production: The new Springdale facility will serve as the company’s North American Manufacturing Center of Excellence—its flagship manufacturing and research and development location—eventually accommodating up to 700 employees.

The IdeaFame Pitch Competition is back, giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their ideas and compete for cash prizes.

  • Halftime Highlights: The first IdeaFame Pitch Competition of the year will take place Tuesday, Feb 27, at 5p at the Basketball Performance Center ahead of the Razorback Women’s Basketball game. Winners will be announced during halftime.

Last week, Halsey announced she will bring her highly anticipated For My Last Trick Tour, with The Warning, to the Walmart AMP as part of the 2025 Cox Concert Series on Monday, May 19, at 7p.

Reaction Motorsports Brings the Action to Drake Field This Weekend

Reaction Motorsports Events is kicking off its 2025 season with two adrenaline-filled events this weekend at Drake Field in Fayetteville—the event was previously scheduled this past weekend but postponed due to weather. 

  • Grip NWA: Experience the thrill of autocross this Saturday, Feb 22, where drivers compete against the clock on a precision course. Spectators can enjoy the action for a $5 cash gate fee (kids 12 and under are free). Gates open at 9a with food trucks on-site.

  • Drift NWA: DriftNWA launches its 2025 season on Sunday, Feb 23, featuring beginner and advanced courses, plus ride-alongs. Bring a helmet for the ride-along experience! Spectator gates open at 9a with a $5 entry fee. Driver registration starts at $75.
