Razorback Baseball Opens 2025 Season This Weekend
Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Baum-Walker Stadium as Razorback Baseball kicks off its 2025 season opener this Friday, Feb 14, at 3p against Washington State.
The First Pitch: Opening Weekend of the Razorbacks’ 103rd season continues Saturday at 2p, Sunday at 1p, and Monday at noon—each day featuring a special promotion.
Swing Batter, Batter: This weekend’s lineup includes a 2025 Magnet Schedule giveaway on Friday, free beanies for the first 1,000 fans on Saturday, Bark in the Park on Sunday, and Kids Run the Bases on Monday. The full 2025 promotional schedule boasts over 20 giveaways, theme days, and more throughout the season.

The Momentary Expands Lineup For FreshGrass | Bentonville 2025
The Momentary has added exciting new acts to the FreshGrass | Bentonville 2025 lineup, happening Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17.
Setting Down Roots: FreshGrass was the first festival ever held at the Momentary, helping pave the way for what has become a dynamic music venue for NWA — this will be FreshGrass’s fifth year on the Momentary Green. Beyond the music, the family-friendly festival will offer activities, local food and drink, local vendors, food and beverages, and more.
A Star-Studded Roster: Rising talents Jaime Wyatt, Waylon Wyatt, and GRAMMY-nominated Cha Wa join icons like Lukas Nelson, Shakey Graves, Béla Fleck, and Seun Kuti & Egypt 80. Rosanne Cash’s artist-at-large appearance coincides with The Prison Concerts photo exhibition, and Arkansas native Willi Carlisle will debut a new FreshGrass commission.

Reaction Motorsports Brings the Action to Drake Field This Weekend
Reaction Motorsports Events is kicking off its 2025 season with two adrenaline-filled events this weekend at Drake Field in Fayetteville.
Grip NWA: Experience the thrill of autocross this Saturday, Feb 15, where drivers compete against the clock on a precision course. Spectators can enjoy the action for a $5 cash gate fee (kids 12 and under are free). Gates open at 9a with food trucks on-site.
Drift NWA: DriftNWA launches its 2025 season on Sunday, Feb 16, featuring beginner and advanced courses, plus ride-alongs. Bring a helmet for the ride-along experience! Spectator gates open at 9a with a $5 entry fee. Driver registration starts at $75.

Bentonville School Board Considers Expansion Plans
The Bentonville School Board is weighing options for major upgrades at Bentonville West High School as growth surges in the district’s west side.
Expansion Plans: During a recent work session, the board reviewed several options, including upgrades to athletic facilities, ball fields, band classrooms, and gyms—ranging from $14M to $45M. One option includes building an entirely new high school for $122M to meet future needs.
Growing Together: A recent study projects potential overcrowding at high schools by 2029-30, prompting the board to consider these expansions carefully. Superintendent Debbie Jones emphasized that community feedback will be vital in shaping the plan, and a decision is expected by August.
