A Nutty Way to Give Back to the University of Arkansas
The University of Arkansas is offering a fun, unique way to support students by giving donors the chance to name one of the many squirrels that call the trees of Old Main Lawn home.
Squirrelships: For a donation of $18.71, a nod to the university’s founding year, participants can name a squirrel and receive a digital certificate commemorating their squirrel. Donations directly support student scholarships, research, and campus maintenance.
Nutty Names: This fun initiative runs through Feb 28 and makes a unique gift for alumni, friends, and family. All names will be reviewed for approval before certificates are sent. If you’re looking for some ideas, how about Wooo Squeak Sooie, Dave Van Acorn, Houston Nutty, John Calisquirrely, or The Nutorious P.I.G?
