Highway 112 To See Major Improvements With Help From $25M In Federal Funding
Highway 112 is set to become a safer, more connected corridor linking Fayetteville and Bentonville, thanks to $25M in federal funding secured through the RAISE program.
Wider and Rounder: The highway expansion project will transform the heavily traveled two-lane road into a safer, more efficient four-lane boulevard with a center median and over 20 roundabouts intended to reduce congestion and improve travel times for daily commuters.
Collaboration Driving Growth: The project also features a 12-ft-wide multi-use path for cyclists and pedestrians spanning the entire corridor, connecting neighborhoods, schools, and businesses to promote active, sustainable transportation and reduce environmental impact.
Construction is expected to begin in 2025. Learn more HERE.

The Feral Pig Serving Up Fresh And Familiar Flavors In Fayetteville
NWA Daily
Former owner of long-time favorite Dickson St. establishments Common Grounds and Hog Haus is back in the restaurant game! The Feral Pig is now open on College Ave in Fayetteville.
Behind The Menu: Owner Julie Sill closed Common Grounds in 2016 and Hog Haus in 2018 before moving to Maryland, but Fayetteville kept drawing her back. The Feral Pig serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch and will offer many of the items her previous restaurants were known for (including her Bloody Marys and, hoooopefully, the snickerdoodle coffee).
On the Plate: We checked out their breakfast this week and would definitely recommend a visit. The blueberry cream ādaneāishā was top-notch, and the sausage & egg casserole was second only to my mommaās.
