Pack The Bud Red This Friday With Razorback Gymnastics

Razorbacks Gymnastics will face off against the defending national champions, the LSU Tigers, at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville this Friday, Jan 24, from 6:45-8:45p.

• Home Floor: After two consecutive road meets, the No. 17 Gymbacks competed at Bud Walton Arena for the first time in 2025 this past Monday. They had their best showing of the season, scoring 197.000 and defeating both No. 16 Denver and Texas Woman’s.

Sortworthy To Build $3M Textile Recycling Facility in Northwest Arkansas

Sortworthy, a Florida-based textile recycling company, recently announced plans to relocate to Northwest Arkansas.

• Reducing Textile Waste: Nearly 95% of used clothing is recyclable, which Sortworthy collects and transforms into products like insulation, pillows, and more—keeping millions of pounds of textile waste out of landfills.

• Sorting Things Out: Drawn by the region’s sustainability focus, Sortworthy plans to invest $3M in a 60,000- to 90,000-sqft recycling facility near Bentonville. The exact location is still under wraps while the acquisition is finalized. The facility is expected to add 40 new jobs to the area over the next five years.

Taquería Lucha Food Truck To Open Brick & Mortar Location In Fayetteville

After rolling onto Northwest Arkansas’s food scene in its bright green food truck, Taqueria Lucha is ready to drop anchor at a brick-and-mortar location at 412 W Dickson St. in Fayetteville.

• Same Tacos: Established in 2023 by the same team behind Tula, Lucha quickly developed a strong following as a food truck appearing at events and operating at a semi-permanent spot on 5th St in Bentonville. The permanent location is expected to open sometime in March, and the food truck will continue to operate for event catering.

• Fresh Take: Lucha’s menu currently features authentic street tacos, aguas frescas, and sides, but it plans to expand to include burritos, quesadillas, margaritas, and draft beer. The new location will offer indoor and outdoor seating, including a full-service bar.
