Walmart Celebrates Grand Opening Of New Home Office Campus
Walmart officially opened its new Home Office campus in Bentonville last Friday, ushering in a new era for the company that began as a small Downtown 5&10 and grew into the world’s largest retailer.
A World-Class Campus: Two of the 12 planned buildings are open, with others set to debut throughout 2025. Amenities include seven miles of bike trails, a 360,000-sqft fitness center, on-site childcare, and dining options like Wright’s BBQ, Yokozuna Sushi, and more.
Sustainably Built: The campus was built with sustainability in mind, using regionally sourced mass timber—the largest project of its kind in the U.S.—and features energy-efficient designs, renewable energy, and plenty of green space filled with over 750,000 native plants.

The Hearts Project: A COVID-19 Memorial Comes to Fayetteville
Experience a moving tribute to those affected by the COVID pandemic at the Fayetteville Public Library with The Hearts Project, on display through Feb 10.
A Quilt of Stories: Fayetteville artist Monica Anne Moore’s exhibition features 2,700 hand-cut hearts crafted from consumer print materials, symbolizing those lost to COVID-19 in Arkansas. When completed, the full exhibit will feature one heart for each of the 13,068 COVID-19 deaths in Arkansas.
A Communal Effort: The artwork honors healthcare professionals, front-line workers, and those isolated during the pandemic’s height. Visitors can contribute to the ongoing project by cutting and submitting their own hearts and sharing personal pandemic stories.

Alice L. Walton School of Medicine and Stanford Medicine Host Inaugural AI Conference
Leaders from health, tech, and education recently gathered in Bentonville for the Think Health: AI for Healthy Communities conference, hosted by Alice L. Walton School of Medicine and Stanford Medicine.
Big Ideas, Real Impact: The event showcased how artificial intelligence can improve health care and empower communities like those in Northwest Arkansas. Speakers like Michael Milken, Chelsea Clinton, and Arianna Huffington shared how AI can tackle health challenges and create solutions to make health care smarter, more efficient, and accessible to all.
Tech Meets Health: Attendees explored cutting-edge tools like using virtual reality for mental health and AI-powered health coaches, sparking ideas for the future of medicine and how AWSOM will prepare future doctors to lead this exciting transformation of healthcare.

2025 Artist Lineup Taking Shape At Walmart AMP

Destination Rogers
Following a record-breaking year, the Walmart AMP has an exciting lineup of performers already taking shape for the 2025 Cox Concert Series.
For The Books: The AMP saw one of its most successful seasons last year with 49 shows, 385,834 ticket sales, and record-setting shows by Chappell Roan, Benson Boone, Post Malone, and Brooks & Dunn. The venue also landed on Pollstar’s year-end ranking of Top 100 Ampitheaters worldwide at No. 34 for tickets sold and No. 38 for gross ticket revenue.
On The Horizon: Eleven performances have already been announced for the 2025 season, including Staind + Breaking Benjamin, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Nate Bargatze, Thomas Rhett, Goo Goo Dolls, “Weird Al” Yankovic, and more to come!
