Help Send 1000 Beanie Babies & 1000 Pieces of Art To Kids In Ukraine

Bentonville-based nonprofit Hugs From Friends recently launched Project 1000 Hugs, an effort to send 1,000 Beanie Babies and 1,000 pieces of art to children in Ukraine who are receiving care to overcome the trauma of war.

  • The Collection: So far, over 680 pieces of artwork have been sent to schools and organizations in seven regions of Ukraine, and a generous NWA community member has donated their Beanie Baby collection to help reach the goal — making for a sweet resolution to that ‘90s kid’s dream that “someday, these will be worth something.”

  • From The HeART: Schools, community organizations, and individuals can participate by creating artwork to help reach the goal of 1,000 pieces. Follow the Artwork Guidelines and submit your piece, and then Hugs From Friends will send your art to partners in Ukraine.
