Lace Up Your Running Shoes For The 26th Annual Race To Hydrate 5K & Youth Run

The 26th annual Race to Hydrate 5K & Youth Run, presented by Gatorade, will begin at the Railyard Bike Park in Rogers on Saturday, May 11, at 7a.

  • Run Around: This family-friendly event features a scenic run/walk 5K route from Railway Bike Park to Lake Atalanta and back. After the race, enjoy the Fun Zone, character meet-and-greets, and refreshments await! There will also be a Toddler Trot and Youth Fun Run suitable for all ages.

  • Water Break: Enjoy a day filled with fun and fitness, all while making a significant impact on hydration education. Proceeds from the event support Kendrick Fincher Hydration for Life and provide life-saving hydration education and equipment to students and athletes in Arkansas.

Downtown Springdale Hosts Three Days Of Art Experiences

Experience creativity during Downtown Springdale’s Spring ART WALK, featuring three days of art experiences, live music, and great food from Apr 25-27.

  • Thursday: The fun kicks off Apr 25 with a free outdoor concert at Turnbow Park from 6:30-9:30p, featuring MEZCLAVE, a liquid light show by Mad Alchemy, and aura paintings by Justine Beech.

  • Friday: On Apr 26, join the Art Wine Crawl from 5-9p. Tickets are $10 and include a guided tour of the art walk stops with generous pours along the way.

  • Saturday: Explore the artists' work from 10a-5p at your own pace or by joining a guided tour, beginning every hour from the Apollo on Emma. Grab a bite to eat and take your drink to go in the Outdoor Dining District — Fridha’s will have complimentary Micheladas!

Tour The Beautiful Homes Of Fayetteville’s Historic District

If you've ever wanted to step inside the beautiful homes of Fayetteville's historic district, you'll have your chance during the 18th Annual Fayetteville Tour of Homes on Saturday, May 4, from 12-5p.

  • Old & new: Eight featured homes will open their doors for self-guided tours, ranging from historic homes built as early as 1917 to innovative modern designs constructed in recent years.

  • Back to school: All proceeds from the event support the students, teachers, and staff of Washington Elementary, Fayetteville's oldest public school, built in 1886. Tickets can be purchased online or in person at French Metro Antiques.

Experimental artist Kat Wilson and ceramicist Rainy Bray-Hopwood will lead the next session of Table Talks at The Medium with a complimentary dinner provided by Secondhand Smoke this Wednesday, Apr 24, from 6-8p.

  • Food For Thought: Table Talks is a monthly gathering at The Medium, a creative destination in Downtown Springdale. It is a place to meet other creatives, get inspired, eat good food, and find your people. The event is free, but registration is encouraged!

  • Out Of The Box: The theme for this month is Community, a conversation about leveraging community & resources to make your project happen with Kat Wilson, an experimental artist from NWA whose work has been featured at Crystal Bridges and The Louvre, and Rainy Bray-Hopwood, an Ozarks-born artist and founder of Fifth Street Studio and Fifth Market.
