Annual Dickson Street Pup Crawl Coming Up

Get ready to strut your stuff and sip some drinks with your furry friends at the 11th Annual Dickson Street Pup Crawl on Apr 27 from 2-6p. 

• Party animals: This adult-oriented event will feature unique canine-themed drinks and fun activities, with registration including a T-shirt and dog bandana. 

• Paws for a cause: All proceeds go directly to Fayetteville Animal Services, helping to support their mission of finding homes for over 900 pets in 2023.

Infrastructure

Construction Begins on New Road to XNA

New road construction at XNA is set to begin this summer, kicked off by a groundbreaking ceremony held yesterday.

• Smooth ride: The four-lane interstate-style highway will connect XNA to Highway 264 and the Springdale Northern Bypass, improving traffic flow and providing safer roads for the growing region. 

• Part of the plan: This project, along with other highway improvements, is being funded by an extension of a half-cent sales tax approved by Arkansas voters in 2020.
