The Diaper Collective Of NWA Expands Impact With New Warehouse Space

Family Network and The Diaper Collective of Northwest Arkansas will celebrate the grand opening of a new warehouse space in Springdale this Friday, Mar 8.

  • Making Changes: The Diaper Collective of NWA was established in 2020 as Arkansas's first and only National Diaper Bank Network-affiliated organization. Last year, the program distributed 327,893 diapers, supporting 800 babies monthly across 28 zip codes.

  • Staying Stocked: With the opening of the new warehouse, The Diaper Collective will grow its distribution and aid even more families within the NWA community.

Cycles & Sweets: Highlands Gravel Cinnamon Roll Returns To Goshen

Get a sneak peek at sections of the 2024 UCI Gravel World Series race course during the Highlands Gravel Classic Cinnamon Roll in Goshen this Saturday, Mar 9, at 9a, including a community bike drive with Pedal It Forward.

  • Gravel Gang: Fayetteville is set to host the Highlands Gravel Classic on Apr 27 as a qualifier race for the UCI Gravel World Championships — the only city in the U.S. to host a qualifier race for this prestigious global event. The Gravel World Series spans 25 races across 16 countries, culminating with the finale in Belgium.

  • Cinnamon Swirl: Connect with fellow riders and support a worthy cause. Bring bike-related gear for donations to Pedal It Forward and enjoy refreshing beer and cinnamon rolls after a ride around Goshen. City officials will also share their exciting expansion plans with the Arkansas Rural Recreation Roads initiative.

Noon2Moon Mountain Bike Race Returns To Coler

The 3rd annual Noon2Moon endurance race returns to Bentonville on Saturday, May 4, to see who can complete the most laps at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve in six hours!

  • Til Sun Down: Riders can race solo or as a team, and those who complete the most laps in their category will be awarded prizes. The community is invited to cheer on the riders or volunteer with event set up, tear down, or parking.

  • Early Riders: Does six hours sound insane? Sign up for the Hot Lap option for a single lap of the racecourse. Packet Pickup is May 3, including a Kids Camp experience and Kids Race. Races can also pre-ride the course during the pickup event.

Ozark Highlands Nature Center Hosts Outdoors Swap Meet

Time to update your outdoor gear! Join the 2024 Outdoors Swap Meet at the Ozark Highlands Nature Center this Saturday, Mar 9, from 9a-4p.

  • Get Outside: The J.B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Ozark Highlands Nature Center is a 32,000 sq ft facility on over 61 acres in Springdale where the community can learn about the natural world and outdoor recreation in Northwest Arkansas through animal exhibits, classes, archery ranges, community gatherings, and more!

  • Let’s Trade: Want to start hunting or fishing but don’t have the gear to get started? Explore used goods from the community, local vendors, outdoor organizations, and other wildlife groups who can help you gear up for an exciting spring season and connect with other outdoor enthusiasts.

Local Breweries Teaming Up For The Great Southern Beer Fest

Break out your lederhosen overalls for The Great Southern Beer Fest, a celebration of the spring harvest and good brews, with 100% of funds raised going to local nonprofits. The festival will be held at Turnbow Park in Downtown Springdale on Apr 27, from 4-9p.

  • Crafting More Than Beer: The Great Southen Beer Fest is organized by Ale-truism, a Northwest Arkansas-based nonprofit that supports other nonprofits by crafting fundraising opportunities and partnerships with the NWA brewing community.

  • Rosin Up Your Bow: The festival will gather brewers from across the state to Downtown Springdale for a day filled with great beer, excellent food trucks, and live music all day, featuring The Repo’d Trailers and bluegrass & comedy cover band The Cleverlys
