John Calipari Named New Head Hog

After the news that the Muss Bus was leaving the station, Arkansas Athletic Director Hunter Yurachek didn’t miss a beat and surprised the college basketball world by landing John Calipari as Arkansas’s next head coach.

  • Game changer: While Kentucky’s last few years were below average by their standards, Calipari brings an impressive track record to Arkansas, with six Final Four appearances and a national title under his belt.

  • Show me the money: The Razorbacks will reportedly be paying Calipari slightly less than his current salary of $8.5 million at Kentucky, but the deal is incentive-based and could potentially surpass that number.
