Rogers Short Film Festival 2024 Lineup & Ticket Info

ROGERS, Ark. – The Rogers Short Film Festival has selected 34 films to participate in its fourth annual film festival on May 3-5, 2024. Filmmakers vary from K-12 students to professional filmmakers. Tickets for the film festival are now available, and prices range from $30 for a one-day pass to $200 for VIP all-weekend access at Victory Theater.

The Rogers Short Film Festival allows filmmakers to compete in categories based on experience and budget. The best of each category is awarded in the Student Category (K-12), Student Category (Postsecondary), Amateur Category, and Professional Category, and the Best of Fest award goes to the overall winner.

Student Category (K-12):

This year’s festival jurors are Frank Barbieri, Walmart's vice president of content & digital; Joe Newcomb, co-producer of Dallas Buyers Club; Nace DeSanders, Soleil Space's community outreach manager; Liz Manashil, a filmmaker, film distribution consultant, and host of “Making Movies is Hard”; and Eric Toms, comedian, producer, and producer of “Making Movies is Hard.”

“We are incredibly excited to have such a talented jury for this year’s festival,” said Festival Director Barry Cobbs. “This lineup of films is really impressive, so these jurors have a big task on their hands.”

The festival allows filmmakers to see their films on the big screen at Victory Theater, network with fellow creators, and enjoy local food, entertainment, and culture. Attendees are invited to celebrate these filmmakers and experience the atmosphere of the newly renovated Victory Theater, located at 116 S 2nd St., Rogers.
