Bentonville Celebrates 150th Anniversary With Time Capsule Project

In honor of its Sesquicentennial (150th) Anniversary, Bentonville is creating a time capsule that won’t be opened for another fifty years.

  • Remember me: The 2023 time capsule will feature items that reflect our present moment and will be sealed until 2073 when the city celebrates its Bicentennial Anniversary.

  • Show and tell: The community is encouraged to submit items for the time capsule. If chosen, your items will be displayed at the time capsule ceremony this September.

Submissions are open until Aug 1. Make your mark on the future HERE.

Art of Wine: Uncorked! is the Party of the Summer!

Mount Sequoyah Hosting Carnival + Concert To Mark Its 100 Years

Fayetteville’s historic retreat center, Mount Sequoyah, will commemorate its 100th Anniversary with a mountaintop carnival and two Trout Fishing in America concerts on Saturday, Aug 5.

  • Carnies: Enjoy games, inflatables, crafts, activities, face painting, food truck fare, and refreshing snow cones during the carnival from 10a-5p.

  • Gone Fishin’: Trout Fishing in America will perform a kid-friendly concert at 2p in Clapp Auditorium. The band will return at 7p for an adult focussed sunset concert near the Cross Overlook.
